These terms apply to this website. For files, Zenodo records, repositories, software releases and datasets, the license expressly stated there governs. If no license is stated, no permission is granted beyond exceptions provided by applicable copyright law.
02 / Original website content
Original scientific text and original scientific figures on this website are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), unless a different notice appears directly with the material. You may share and adapt them, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit, link to the license and indicate changes. Copyright and authorship remain with Bernd von Mallinckrodt.
03 / Publications and Zenodo
This website license does not alter the license of any linked or embedded publication record. On Zenodo and other repositories, only the license notice and versioned files of the specific record govern. Citation and licensing are separate obligations: please cite the version and DOI specified in that record.
04 / Software, code and data
BenchEWS Studio, source code, executables, models, datasets, configuration files and other technical artefacts are governed only by the license expressly supplied with the relevant release, repository or dataset. CC BY 4.0 for website text is not a software license and grants no patent, trademark or warranty rights.
05 / Names, marks and design
The names BenchEWS and MalliSoftware, the radar mark, logos, word or figurative marks, and the distinctive brand and website design are excluded from the general CC BY offer. They may not identify another product or be used in a way that implies sponsorship, partnership, review or endorsement.
06 / Official Media Kit
As a specific exception, files expressly supplied in the official BenchEWS Media Kit may be used unchanged for scientific or editorial reporting, teaching, linking and non-commercial science communication. The stated attribution and an accurate account of research and publication status are required. Alteration, product branding and any implication of institutional endorsement are not permitted.
07 / Third-party rights
Quotations, portraits, the family coat of arms, screenshots, external figures, linked publications, embedded content, fonts and other third-party materials are excluded unless expressly stated otherwise. A source credit does not itself grant a sublicense; permission must be determined with the respective rights holder.
08 / AI assistance and responsibility
AI assistance with language, structure, software development or design is not a representation that every technical or visual element is exclusively protectable. Selection, scientific claims, editorial responsibility and clearance of the expressly licensed original content remain with Bernd von Mallinckrodt.
09 / Warranty and status
To the extent permitted by law, content and materials are provided without warranties as to accuracy, fitness or results. Licensing does not imply scientific validation, peer review, institutional recognition or endorsement. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains unaffected.
